John’s Chiropractic journey began when he first received treatment aged 12 and realised the positive effects chiropractic can have on people’s lives.  When choosing what to study at university it was very obvious… it had to be Chiropractic! After four years at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic John graduated with a First Class Masters of Chiropractic degree, and first time passes at every stage.

John aims to give patients relief from pain, whether that occurs from a sport, work or day to day life.  He aims to work with each patient to find what works best for them, and to give them the best quality of life through high quality, personalised care tailored to their individual needs.

Outside clinic John plays competitive hockey and enjoys several other sports including tennis, padel and golf.

John is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (no.06730) and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Kay graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2001 with an Honours degree in Human Science and a Masters in Chiropractic, and worked in two busy Wiltshire practices until opening Maristow Chiropractic Clinic in 2003.

Kay has a special interest in treating sporting injuries and completed the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD) in Turin, Italy in 2006 to be a certified sports Chiropractor. In 2012 she was selected as a “Gamesmaker” for the Paralympic games as part of the medical services team. More locally, Kay was the team medic for Trowbridge Rugby Football Club from 2004-2017 where she was responsible for all pitch side first aid and both pre and post match treatments. Kay was honoured as a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors in 2015 in recognition of her continuous work and dedication to improving the profession with a clear focus on self-improvement aimed at providing the very best chiropractic care.

In 2016, Kay completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (PgDip), which is the Consortium for the Accreditation of Sonographic Education (CASE) accredited course, recognised by the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS). This allows the clinic to use diagnostic ultrasound to accurately diagnose many musculoskeletal injuries, give a more specific prognosis and provide a specific treatment plan.

Kay has continued to contribute to the care of athletes at major international sporting events, being selected to be part of the Medical Services team at the 2017 IAAF World Championships London and the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Kay is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (no.01280) is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors.

With a background in Sports Science from Bournemouth University, Joe spent years working in elite performance environments before becoming a chiropractor. His experience includes roles as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Bristol Academy of Sport, supporting GB sprinters preparing for the Rio Olympics, and working within international motorsport with Formula 2 and Formula 3 drivers, including athletes who have since progressed to Formula 1.

Joe was awarded the British Chiropractic Association Academic Excellence Award for achieving the highest score in his final year of study. He is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (No. 05143).

Outside of practice, Joe enjoys CrossFit, reading, playing music, spending time outdoors, and being outnumbered at home by his wife, young son & small fluffy dog, Milo. Strong coffee remains an essential part of his daily recovery strategy.

David came to chiropractic later in life, having previously worked as a personal trainer and studio instructor. He always had a strong interest in health, fitness, and helping people improve their wellbeing.

In 2018, after suffering a back injury, David visited a chiropractor for the first time and was amazed by the impact treatment had on his recovery. The experience reignited his passion for working with the body and helping others achieve better health. It was a true lightbulb moment and the beginning of his journey into chiropractic.

David went on to study at Health Sciences University, graduating with a Master of Chiropractic degree. His approach combines hands-on care, rehabilitation, and patient education, with a strong focus on helping people understand their condition and regain confidence in movement.

His mission is not only to help patients find relief from their symptoms, but also to meet them where they are in their health journey and provide them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to build stronger, healthier, and more resilient bodies for the long term.

Outside of the clinic, David has a keen interest in health and wellbeing, enjoys spending time in nature, & can often be found exploring the beautiful West Country. He is also a keen foodie and has a fascination with ancient civilisations and their history.
